Consultation
I assess lip proportions, your goals and medical history. Cold sore history matters here.

Numbing
Topical anaesthetic is applied and left to take effect.

Small aliquots are placed to build shape, definition or volume depending on the plan agreed.

Shaping and review
Lips are gently massaged to smooth the product, with a two-week review.
Results and how long they last
Lips look fuller straight away but will be swollen, the true result shows at around two weeks. Lip filler typically lasts six to twelve months, less than filler elsewhere because lips move constantly.
Aftercare
- Expect significant swelling for 24 to 72 hours, ice gently, do not press
- No lipstick or lip products for 12 hours
- No gym, alcohol, sauna or hot drinks for 24 hours
- Sleep slightly propped up on the first night
- Do not have facials or dental work for two weeks
