What happens during your appointment

Medical consultation
I assess suitability, medical history and expectations. Botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine and cannot be given without this.

Facial assessment
I ask you to move your face so I can map the exact muscles causing your lines.

Treatment
A very fine needle delivers small doses into the mapped points. The whole injection process takes around ten minutes.

Review
A follow-up around two weeks later checks the result and makes any small adjustment needed.
Results and how long they last
You'll start to see softening from day three to five, with the full result at two weeks. It typically lasts three to four months, and often longer once you've had a few regular treatments.
Aftercare
- Stay upright for four hours, no lying down or face-down massage
- No gym, sauna, or heavy exercise for 24 hours
- Do not rub or massage the treated area
- No facials or other facial treatments for two weeks
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
